PRESSURE FILTERS REMOVE SOLIDS OUT OF THE FLUID AND HELP GET SOLIDS OUT THE PLANT

Pressure filters is a term used by many filter manufacturers who produce a filter vessel which uses pressure for the driving force to clean liquids. They come in many styles and concepts. The most popular in the metalworking coolant field is the flat bed, media filter with automatic indexing. Its capabilities cover applications which include machining, grinding, polishing, rolling, forming, drawing, quenchants and waste treatment. The pressure differentials for the filtering function are selected to balance the need to handle the required flow and still maintain a permeable layer of contaminates on the media. The permeability factor allows the filter to extract as much free liquid out of the contaminates before they are automatically discharged from the filter's chamber.

Therefore the filter is taking contaminates out of the fluid during the filtering cycle to help the process function and takes fluids out of the contaminates during the self cleaning cycle to help discharge the contaminates from the plant.

Harrigan Solutions understand the features of flat bed pressure filters. We know the applications and the desire to not only have clean coolant but to have a relatively dry solids for handling. We design systems, sell new and used filtration equipment and provide maintenance service for the companies who need an extension of their maintenance department.
