WHAT DOES BUE HAVE TO DO WITH METALWORKING FLUIDS?

In a machining operation, BUE stands for "build-up edge" of metal on the cutting tool's cutting edge. When that happens the cutting accuracy of the tool suffers and poor product quality is a factor. Metalworking fluids cool and lubricate the cutting edge and the work piece so the metal does not have a chance to accumulate on the edge or even on the surface of the workpiece. Consequently the tool life is extended and product quality increases.

Therefore the selection and care of metalworking fluids are important step in a metal working operation.

Harrigan Solutions knows the importance and can assist their customers in the selection of the fluid as well as selecting the most economical system for filtration. We can provide the needed equipment. We offer the flexibility to either buy or rent, new or used the cleaning devices and components of a system.
