Working Principle
Horizontal Screw Discharge Sedimentation Centrifuge separates the solid particles in the mixture from the liquid by centrifugal force. Specifically, when the mud-water mixture or suspension through the feed pipe into the drum, in the host high-speed rotation of the centrifugal force, the specific gravity of the solid particles deposited on the inner wall of the drum, forming a mud layer (solid ring layer). With the drum for the relative movement of the spiral blade will be deposited in the drum wall of solid-phase particles continuously scraped down and out of the slag outlet, and after the separation of the clear liquid through the weir plate openings or the big end of the drum overflow holes out of the drum, so as to realize the separation of solid-liquid.
Structural characteristics
Horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge is mainly composed of the following parts.
1. drum: the key components of the centrifuge, bear the high speed rotary material and other accessories added to the centrifugal pressure, but also bear the drum’s own quality of the centrifugal force. It consists of a cylinder, cone, big end cap, small end cap and other four parts connected with the help of flange.
2. Screw conveyor: can continuously send the slag to the slag discharge out of the machine, according to the different solid-liquid ratio of the material to be processed, the ratio of the liquid channel and the slag discharge channel can be used in different configurations.
3. Differential system: through the differential (such as planetary gears or cycloid differential) or hydraulic motor to achieve the speed difference between the drum and the spiral, the speed difference in the separation of materials and separation efficiency plays a decisive role.
4. Driving system: including the main motor and sub-motor, the main motor drives the drum to rotate, and the sub-motor drives the spiral to rotate through the differential.
5. Liquid level baffle: used to adjust the liquid level depth in the drum to optimize the separation effect.
6. Control system: monitoring and regulating the operation of the centrifuge to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
