Basic knowledge of centrifuge operation

Preparation before starting

Check whether the power connection and grounding of the main and auxiliary motors of the centrifuge are safe and reliable to ensure that the equipment is in a safe state.

Check the tightness and rotation direction of the belt to ensure that it meets the requirements and there is no loosening or belt falling.

Check whether the refueling holes on the drum are refueled according to the regulations, especially the key refueling holes need to be refueled regularly.

Turn the drum by hand to check whether there is friction and collision to ensure smooth rotation of the drum.Install and adjust the overflow plate of the liquid pool depth to meet different separation requirements.

Cover the machine cover and check whether the bolts are tightened to ensure good sealing of the equipment.

Set parameters

According to the material characteristics and separation requirements, set the inverter parameters of the main motor and auxiliary motor, including operating frequency, acceleration time, deceleration time, etc.

Set the PLC touch screen parameters, including the operating frequency of the main motor, auxiliary motor, feed pump and dosing pump, so as to monitor and adjust during operation.

Start-up operation

Simultaneously turn on the main and auxiliary motors of the centrifuge on the touch screen, and gradually increase the operating frequency to the preset value.

Start the dosing pump and feed pump, and check whether there is liquid medicine and material entering the centrifuge in the transparent drug inlet pipe and feed pipe.

During operation, adjust the feed amount and dosing amount in real time according to the dryness and wetness of the solid phase discharged by the centrifuge and the clarity of the discharged water.

Shutdown operation

Turn off the dosing pump and feed pump to stop the material and liquid medicine from entering the centrifuge.

Open the water inlet valve and cleaning valve to flush the solid phase inside the centrifuge until clear water is discharged from the drain port.

Turn off the main motor and auxiliary motor to complete the shutdown operation of the centrifuge.

Basic knowledge of centrifuge maintenance

Daily inspection

Regularly check the tightness and wear of the belt, and adjust or replace it in time.

Check the lubrication parts of the equipment to ensure that the grease or lubricant is sufficient and free of contamination.

Check the wear of the drum and spiral, and whether the oil holes on the drum are blocked or leaking.

Cleaning and maintenance

After each use, the inside of the centrifuge should be cleaned in time to remove residual materials and dirt.

Regularly check and clean the supernatant return pipe and the slurry screw pump and other parts to prevent blockage and wear.

If the equipment is not used for a long time, the clear liquid in the drum should be drained and the inside of the equipment should be cleaned with a transparent liquid.

Professional maintenance

Perform a regular dynamic balance test on the centrifuge to ensure that the equipment remains balanced and stable when running at high speed.

If abnormal vibration, noise or performance degradation is found in the equipment, contact a professional for inspection and maintenance in time.

For the repair of key components such as spirals, it should be operated by professional manufacturers or technicians with corresponding qualifications.

Safety precautions

When operating and maintaining the centrifuge, relevant safety regulations and operating procedures must be followed.

It is strictly forbidden to perform maintenance, cleaning and adjustment work while the equipment is running.

When handling toxic or harmful media, protective equipment should be worn and appropriate protective measures should be taken.
