What is a tubular centrifuge?
A tubular centrifuge is a device that uses high-speed rotation to generate powerful centrifugal forces to separate liquids from solids or liquids of different densities.
Its key features are a slender cylindrical bowl (similar to a metal tube), extremely high rotational speeds (up to 15,000–20,000 rpm), and centrifugal forces of 15,000–20,000 Gs.
This structure enables the separation of micron-sized and even submicron-sized particles, making it particularly suitable for separations requiring low concentrations, fine particles, and high purity.

Working Principle of a Tubular Centrifuge
When a mixed liquid enters the high-speed rotating drum through the feed inlet, the powerful centrifugal force rapidly separates materials of varying densities:
Dense solid particles are flung toward the inner wall of the drum, gradually settling to form a solid phase layer;
The less dense liquid forms an inner layer, which is discharged through the overflow port;
For a three-phase system of liquid-liquid-solid, a three-layer structure (heavy liquid, light liquid, solid) is formed.
By adjusting parameters such as speed, liquid level, and residence time, different materials can be separated, purified, or clarified.
Because there is no internal filter media, the separation process is continuous, clogging-free, and pollution-free, significantly improving production efficiency and separation purity.

A complete tubular centrifuge consists of the following components:
Bowl: The core component, made of high-strength stainless steel (commonly SS304, SS316L, or titanium alloy), ensuring safe and stable operation at high speeds.
Spindle: Connects the motor and bowl, precision-machined, and dynamically balanced.
Drive Motor: Provides high-speed rotational power, available in standard or variable-frequency versions.
Base and bracket: Vibration-absorbing design ensures smooth operation.
Liquid inlet and outlet systems: Enable continuous feeding and liquid discharge.
Electrical control cabinet: Implements startup, acceleration, deceleration, protection, and alarm functions.
