Working logic of horizontal screw centrifuge
Horizontal screw centrifuge is a continuous solid-liquid separation equipment designed based on the principle of sedimentation centrifugal force. Its core structure includes: drum, scroll, differential, drive motor, frame system and automatic control system, etc.
Its operation process is as follows:
Feeding stage: solid-containing materials are injected into the drum through the feed pipe;
Centrifugal sedimentation: In the high-speed rotating drum, due to the density difference, the solids are deposited on the drum wall under the action of centrifugal force;
Solid-liquid separation: The screw conveyor continuously transports the deposited solids to the slag outlet for discharge in a differential manner with the drum;
Liquid discharge: The clarified liquid flows freely from the drum along the liquid layer to achieve stable solid-liquid separation.
This separation method is particularly suitable for treating high-concentration, high-viscosity, and difficult-to-sediment suspended liquids, and performs excellently in dehydration efficiency and operating costs.

1. Reinforced drum system
Made of high-strength stainless steel (such as SS2205/SS316L), equipped with corrosion-resistant and fatigue-resistant welding technology to ensure long-term high-load operation without deformation. Some models use duplex stainless steel to further improve wear-resistant life.
2. Precision processing of screw conveyor
The spiral blade is a key pusher component. It adopts equal thickness or variable pitch structure, and can be supplemented with wear-resistant alloy, ceramic spraying, tungsten carbide coating and other strengthening processes to ensure high efficiency and low maintenance frequency in long-term operation.

3. Differential technology
High-precision planetary differential or hydraulic differential drive system to ensure stable control of solid-liquid separation speed difference. For complex working conditions, dual motor control can be selected to realize intelligent differential adjustment.
