Working Principle
Horizontal screw centrifuge is mainly based on the principle of “centrifugal sedimentation”. It generates strong centrifugal force through high-speed rotation, so that materials with different densities can be quickly separated, thereby achieving the purpose of solid-liquid or even solid-liquid-liquid separation.

The core structure includes:
Drum (shell): responsible for high-speed rotation to form a centrifugal field;
Screw conveyor: pushes the sediment to move to the slag discharge port at a differential speed;
Feeding system: maintains a stable inflow of materials to avoid impact;
Liquid discharge system: the clear liquid after separation is discharged through the overflow port;
Drive and control system: realize speed regulation, differential speed control, and automatic protection.
Separation process:
The mixed liquid enters the drum through the feed pipe;
Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid particles with high density are deposited on the drum wall;
The conveying screw slowly pushes the solid out of the equipment;
The clear liquid or light phase liquid is discharged from the central overflow port to form a continuous processing process.
