Working principle of Decanter Centrifuge
The working principle of the decanter centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. When the material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the feeding screw from the feed pipe, it is accelerated into the drum. Under the action of the centrifugal field, the heavier solid phase is deposited on the drum wall to form a sediment layer, while the lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring. The feeding screw continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the conical end of the drum and discharges it out of the machine through the slag discharge port; the liquid phase continuously overflows from the overflow port at the large end of the drum and is discharged out of the machine through the liquid discharge port. This process can be carried out continuously at full speed, including feeding, separation, washing and unloading.
Advantages of Decanter Centrifuge
1. Compact structure: The decanter centrifuge is reasonably designed, occupies a small area, and is easy to install and move.
2. Continuous operation: The equipment can continuously treat sludge, improving work efficiency.
3. Smooth operation: The decanter centrifuge has low vibration and low noise during operation, and has no adverse effects on the surrounding environment.
4. Strong adaptability: It is suitable for treating suspended liquids with solid phase particles greater than 0.005mm and a concentration range of 2%~40%, and has a wide adaptability to sludge.
5. Large production capacity: The decanter centrifuge has a large processing capacity and can meet the needs of large-scale sludge treatment.
Application of Decanter Centrifuge in Sludge Treatment
1. Sludge Dehydration: Decanter centrifuge is one of the main equipment for sludge dehydration. It can quickly separate the water in the sludge, reduce the water content of the sludge, and achieve sludge reduction and resource utilization.
2. Environmental protection and energy saving: Decanter centrifuge has no pollution emissions during operation and low energy consumption, which meets environmental protection requirements.
2. Environmental protection and energy saving: Decanter centrifuge has no pollution emissions during operation and low energy consumption, which meets environmental protection requirements.
The specific performance of decanter centrifuge in solving the problem of sludge backlog
1. Improve treatment efficiency: The decanter centrifuge has efficient separation capabilities and can quickly separate water and solid particles in sludge, improving sludge treatment efficiency.
2. Reduce sludge volume: The moisture content of sludge after decanter centrifuge treatment is greatly reduced, and the sludge volume is significantly reduced, thus effectively solving the problem of sludge backlog.
3. Reduce treatment costs: The decanter centrifuge operates stably and reliably, and is easy to maintain, reducing the operating costs of sludge treatment.
