Structure and Operating Principle of a Decanter Centrifuge

Operating Principle:

A solid-liquid mixture continuously enters the bowl through the feed inlet.

Under the influence of thousands of times the acceleration of gravity, solid particles rapidly settle to the inner wall of the bowl.

The scroll rotates at a speed slightly slower than the bowl, continuously conveying the settled solids to the discharge port.

The clarified liquid is discharged through the liquid outlet, achieving continuous separation.

By adjusting the differential, level weir, and bowl speed, the solids dryness and liquid clarity can be precisely controlled to meet different process requirements.
