Application types
Decanter centrifuge in food processing is mainly used in the following two types.
1.Two phase decanter centrifuge:Mainly used for solid-liquid separation. In the processing of food and beverages, food-grade decanter centrifuges are usually used. Three-phase decanter centrifuge is commonly used in the production of powder and oil extraction process, need to meet the liquid is not soluble in each other, the density is different, and the solid is heavy phase conditions.
Specific applications and realization
1. Extraction and separation of plant proteins
Application Scenario:Extraction and separation of soy protein, pea protein, potato protein, etc.
Realization mode:Using the high-speed rotating centrifugal force of decanter centrifuge, the plant protein is separated from the mixture. By adjusting the rotational speed, differential speed and other parameters of the centrifuge, the separation effect can be optimized and high purity plant protein can be obtained.
2.Extraction and recovery of animal protein
Application Scenario:Processing of meat trimmings and extraction of crude fat protein therein.
Realization:Firstly, use three-phase high-speed decanter centrifuge for centrifugal separation to get crude fat protein. Then, the use of two-phase disc centrifuge for purification and separation, the crude adiponectin in the remaining small amount of dregs separated out, so that the grease protein more pure .
3.Separation and extraction of starch
Application Scenario:Separation and extraction of potato starch, tapioca starch, sweet potato starch, etc.
Realization:In the concentration process of starch processing, a disk separator is used for concentration. After concentration, centrifugal dewatering is carried out by high-speed decanter centrifuge, which makes the moisture content of dewatered starch lower, and the solids content of the separated clear liquid is lower than that of the traditional scraper centrifuge, and the powder obtaining rate is high.
4.Fruit juice clarification and dehydration
Application Scenario:Clarification and dewatering of fruit juice extracted from apples, pears, dates, carrots and other fruits, berries and vegetables.
Realization: In the clarification and separation process of fruit juice processing, high-speed decanter centrifuge is used for clarification and dehydration. The high separation factor of centrifuge makes the clarification of juice high, the juice content of fruit residue low, and the extraction rate of juice high.
5.Vegetable oil separation and extraction
Application Scenario:Separation and extraction of palm oil, olive oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil, peanut oil and other gross oils.
Realization:In the separation and extraction process of vegetable oil, high-speed decanter centrifuge is used for the purification of gross oil.
