How Beer Centrifuge Improves Beer Quality And Yield

Improve beer quality

1. Remove impurities:

The centrifuge uses the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to effectively separate floating particles, yeast, protein and other impurities in beer. If these impurities are not removed, they will affect the clarity and taste of the beer.

2. Improve beer stability:

Through centrifugal treatment, the content of colloidal substances in beer can be significantly reduced, which often affect the stability of beer and cause turbidity or precipitation. After centrifugal treatment, the stability of beer is enhanced and it is more suitable for long-term storage and transportation.

3. Improve beer flavor:

After removing impurities, the flavor of beer is purer, avoiding the odor or bad taste caused by impurities.

Working Principle

Beer centrifuges accelerate sedimentation in two main ways. First, the high-speed rotation inside the cylindrical bowl creates a strong centrifugal force that pushes the denser solids toward the outer wall of the bowl. Second, the centrifuge increases the sedimentation surface inside the bowl through vertically arranged conical discs (disc packs), reduces the sedimentation distance and forms multiple shallow sedimentation pools to accelerate the sedimentation of yeast and sludge toward the discharge port.

These discs also allow fine control of the separation process to optimize efficiency. By adjusting the interface position, unwanted components can be quickly removed to ensure maximum beer recovery. Heavier solids accumulate at the periphery of the bowl and are discharged intermittently.

Increase beer production

1. Improve production efficiency:

The centrifuge has efficient processing capacity and can process a large amount of beer in a short time, thereby shortening the production cycle and improving production efficiency.

2. Reduce losses:

Through precise separation, the centrifuge can maximize the retention of effective ingredients in beer and reduce waste caused by excessive impurities.

3. Automated operation:

Modern beer centrifuges usually use automated control systems that can monitor and adjust centrifugal parameters in real time to ensure the best separation effect, while reducing manual operations and improving the automation level of the overall production line.
