Working Principle

A decanter centrifuge is a mechanical device that uses centrifugal force to continuously separate solids and liquids. Its core structure consists of a rotating drum, a screw propeller, a differential, and a drive system.

Material continuously enters the drum through the feed pipe and is subjected to strong centrifugal force in the high-speed rotation of the drum. A constant differential speed is maintained between the screw propeller and the drum, continuously pushing solids deposited on the inner wall axially toward the discharge port for solids discharge. The supernatant liquid is discharged from the other end through an overflow weir.
