How it works

 

The working principle of the sludge thickening and dewatering horizontal screw centrifuge is based on the combined action of centrifugal sedimentation and screw extrusion. After the mixed sludge enters the centrifuge, it is distributed into the high-speed rotating drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the water in the sludge quickly moves to the center of the drum and is discharged, while the solid particles are thrown to the inner wall of the drum to form a solid phase layer. At this time, the screw conveyor rotates at a speed slightly lower than the drum, continuously pushing the solid phase layer to the slag discharge port to achieve sludge thickening and dehydration. At the same time, the separated clean water is discharged through the overflow port.
