The differential is an important transmission component in the centrifuge. It realizes the coordinated movement of different components inside the centrifuge by changing the speed difference. In the sludge sewage treatment equipment, the main function of the differential is to distribute the power of the motor to the centrifuge’s drum and screw pusher, so that they can rotate at an appropriate speed difference, thereby effectively separating and dehydrating the sludge.

 

Working Principle

 

In the process of sludge sewage treatment, the working principle of the differential is mainly reflected in its coordination of the movement of the centrifuge drum and the screw pusher by changing the speed difference. When the centrifuge is working, the drum is directly driven by the main motor, while the screw pusher is driven by the auxiliary motor and the main motor through the differential. The differential makes the speed of the screw pusher slightly lower than the speed of the drum, thus forming a differential speed. This differential speed can be continuously adjusted by controlling the speed of the auxiliary motor to adapt to different processing requirements.
