How it works

When the centrifuge is working, the bowl drives the differential housing (i.e., the first and second inner ring gears) to rotate synchronously. Because the primary input shaft is fixed by a moment protection device, the relative rotation between the primary input shaft and the primary inner ring gear is formed, and this rotation is transmitted to the secondary input shaft (i.e., the planetary mechanism) by a certain rotation of the three asteroid gears meshed with the two. The relative rotation between the second-stage input shaft and the second-stage inner gear ring drives the three large planetary gears of the second-stage to transmit the relative rotation to the second-stage output shaft (i.e., the differential mechanism) according to a certain rotation.

The function of the differential is to control the relative speed of the main pulley and the auxiliary pulley of the differential, so that the differential speed is generated between the housing of the differential and the output spline, and the same differential speed is generated between the centrifuge drum and the screw, and sufficient pushing torque is provided for the centrifuge screw through the amplification of the differential transmission ratio.

The meaning of differential parameters is as follows: (1) Differential speed △n, the value obtained by subtracting the speed of the spiral from the speed of the centrifuge bowl. (2) The connection between the differential and the centrifuge, the housing of the differential is rigidly connected with the drum of the centrifuge, and the output spline of the differential is rigidly connected with the spiral of the centrifuge through the spline shaft.
