Working Principle

 

The hole-free drum is equipped with a discharge screw. The two rotate in the same direction at high speed, but have a certain speed difference, which is generated by the transmission system and the differential. The suspension enters the inner cavity of the feeding screw from the feed pipe. After acceleration, it enters the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid particles with higher density settle to the inner wall of the drum, forming a sediment ring layer, which is continuously pushed to the small end of the drum by the discharge screw and discharged from the drum. The clarified liquid is continuously discharged from the overflow port at the large end of the drum, thereby realizing the solid-liquid separation of the suspension.

 

Organizational Structure

 

1. Drum: The key component of the centrifuge, which bears the centrifugal pressure applied by the material and other accessories during high-speed rotation, and also bears the centrifugal force generated by the mass of the drum itself. It consists of four parts, namely a cylinder, a cone, a large end cover, and a small end cover, connected by flanges.

2. Screw conveyor: It can continuously deliver the sediment to the discharge port and discharge it out of the machine. According to the different solid-liquid ratios of the processed materials, the ratio of the infusion channel to the discharge channel can be configured differently.

3. Differential system: The speed difference between the drum and the spiral is achieved through a differential (such as a planetary gear or a cycloidal pinwheel differential) or a hydraulic motor. The speed difference plays a decisive role in the separation effect and separation efficiency of the material.

4. Drive system: It includes a main motor and an auxiliary motor. The main motor drives the drum to rotate, and the auxiliary motor drives the spiral to rotate through the differential.

5. Liquid level baffle: It is used to adjust the liquid level depth in the drum to optimize the separation effect.

6. Control system: monitor and adjust the operation of the centrifuge to ensure stable operation of the equipment.

 

Scope Of Application

 

Horizontal spiral unloading sedimentation centrifuge is suitable for solid phase dehydration, liquid phase clarification separation, liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation and particle classification of various suspensions with solid phase particle size of 0.005-15mm, concentration of 1-40%, temperature ≤100℃. It is especially suitable for separation of suspensions with difficulty in filter cloth regeneration and large changes in concentration and particles. Such as polyvinyl chloride resin, ammonium sulfite, barium carbonate, strontium sulfate, lithopone, starch, diatomaceous earth, gypsum, bauxite, soybean protein, peanut protein, fruit juice, beverage, vegetable oil, citric acid, blood meal, titanium dioxide, kaolin, drilling mud and other processing and clean coal dehydration, pulverized coal dehydration, waste oil and wine lees and waste liquid, mineral classification treatment, municipal sewage treatment and power plant sludge, printing and dyeing sludge, papermaking sludge and other industrial wastewater treatment fields.
