Sludge Dewatering Centrifuge Concept

The sludge dewatering centrifuge is a highly efficient and energy-saving solid-liquid separation equipment. Working Principle

The working principle of the sludge dewatering centrifuge mud decanter separator is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. When the sludge containing solid particles enters the centrifuge, in the high-speed rotating drum, due to the centrifugal force, the solid particles with higher density are thrown to the inner wall of the drum to form a mud layer, while the water with lower density is discharged through the gaps between the mud layers and the water outlet holes of the drum.

 

At the same time, in order to enhance the separation effect, a spiral propeller is often installed inside the equipment, which pushes the mud layer forward while rotating, so that the mud layer is continuously squeezed and sheared, further promoting the discharge of water, and finally achieving the dewatering of the sludge.
