Working Principle
The working principle of the horizontal screw centrifuge is based on a strong centrifugal force field. In the high-speed rotating drum, the food or beverage mixture is subjected to the centrifugal force, and the solid particles or impurities with higher density quickly deposit on the drum wall to form a solid phase layer; while the liquid with lower density passes through the solid phase layer and flows out from the discharge port in the center of the drum to achieve solid-liquid separation.
At the same time, the built-in screw conveyor rotates at a speed slightly lower than the drum, pushing the solid particles or impurities deposited on the wall to the small end of the drum, and discharges them through the slag discharge port, completing a continuous and automatic separation process.
