Concept of tubular centrifuge
The tubular centrifuge mainly uses the principle of centrifugal force to separate juice. When the juice enters the high-speed rotating drum of the centrifuge, under the action of centrifugal force, the pulp, impurities and other components with higher density move toward the drum wall, while the liquid part with lower density approaches the central axis.
As far as the process is concerned, the juice is first fed into the bottom of the drum through the feed pipe. Then, it is quickly separated under the high-speed rotation of the drum. Finally, the clarified juice is discharged from the upper outlet of the drum, and the sediment accumulates on the drum wall and is discharged through the bottom slag outlet. In this way, the effect of juice separation is achieved, making the juice purer.
One of the key advantages of high-speed tubular centrifugal separators lies in their ability to handle low-concentration suspensions with exceptional clarity in the separated fluids. They are especially useful in industries like pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and food processing, where purity and efficiency are critical. These separators can process biological fluids, fermentation broths, and essential oils, maintaining product integrity while ensuring effective separation. Because of their continuous operation capability, they are also well-suited for production environments where large volumes of fluid need to be processed consistently.
