The cream separator disc centrifuge is a high-precision device specially used for separating fat from skim milk in the dairy processing process. It is widely used in pasteurized milk, milk powder, cream, cheese and whey processing. The device can quickly separate micron-sized fat globules from the emulsion through the strong centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, and achieve stable and efficient skimming and cream extraction. It is a key equipment for dairy companies to achieve process modernization.
Work principle
After the turbid liquid enters the high-speed rotating drum, it enters the disc group along the channel. Under the strong centrifugal force, it forms three dynamic concentric rings: a small amount of dense solid particles move outward and gather on the peripheral wall to form the outer layer; the heavy phase liquid with high density is thrown to the lower surface of the disc and slides down out of the disc area to form the middle layer; the light phase liquid with low density moves toward the center of the drum to form the inner layer. The three groups of liquids are discharged from the drum through their respective channels.
Application
Disc centrifuge has the characteristics of compact structure, continuous operation, stable operation, strong adaptability, large production capacity and convenient maintenance. It is widely used in chemical, light industry, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection and other industries.
