Equipment Principle
A stacked disc centrifuge is a precision device that utilizes high-speed rotation and a multi-layered conical disc structure for efficient solid-liquid separation. Its operating principle is as follows: a mixed liquid enters the rotating drum through the feed inlet. High-speed centrifugal force causes components of varying densities to rapidly separate radially. Solid particles, driven by centrifugal force, settle on the disc surface and are then removed by scraping or an automatic slag discharge system. Due to its short separation path and large effective area, the stacked disc centrifuge offers significant advantages in separating fine particles and is widely used in demanding, high-purity separation processes.
