Working Principle
The horizontal screw centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation, and uses the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to separate the solid particles from the liquid in the material.
When working, the material to be separated enters the drum through the feed pipe. Under the centrifugal force of high-speed rotation, the solid particles are quickly deposited on the inner wall of the drum to form a solid phase layer. The spiral pusher rotates at a speed slightly lower than that of the drum, slowly pushing the solid particles in the solid phase layer to the discharge port and discharging them. At the same time, the clarified liquid is discharged from the liquid outlet through the gap between the solid phase layers or a specific liquid channel. The adjustment of the differential can optimize the conveying speed and separation effect of the solid, ensuring a continuous and efficient separation process.
