How it  works

Three-phase decanter centrifuge is used in chemical, light industry, medicine, food, papermaking, mining and other industries of material solid-liquid separation equipment, its main motor drives the drum to rotate at full speed, the material is continuously introduced into the spiral by the feed pipe, and evenly distributed to the spiral outlet. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid phase settles to the wall of the bowl, and is pushed out by the screw pusher to the slag outlet of the conical bowl, and the liquid phase flows out along the overflow hole of the large end of the spiral to the drum, forming the small end of the solid phase and the large end of the liquid phase. Separation of solid particles from the mixture or separation of two immiscible mixtures with different specific gravity.

Based on the principle of sedimentation. That is, solid particles that are heavier than a liquid precipitate out in a predetermined time. The same principle can be applied to two immiscible liquids with a difference in specific gravity.

When the material enters the rotating drum at high speed. The material rotates synchronously with the drum in the drum. Due to the different specific gravity, the centrifugal force is different, the solid particles with large specific gravity are subjected to the largest centrifugal force, followed by water, and the sewage oil is the smallest, so that a concentric solid layer and two liquid layers are formed from the outside to the inside according to the magnitude of the centrifugal force.

The solids are pushed out by the auger and the liquids are discharged from the respective inlets. Therefore, the application of three-phase decanter centrifuge can not only separate the solids in the three muds, but also separate the dirty oil in the three muds, that is, it can separate the solids and liquids.

Application fields

The machine has strong adaptability to materials, randomly adjusts different working parameters, and has been widely used in solid-liquid-liquid separation, classification, dehydration, concentration and clarification of suspensions in various industries such as chemical industry, petroleum, environmental protection, mining, food, papermaking, etc. The machine is suitable for processing suspensions with solid particle size of 0.005-2mm, density difference between solid phase and liquid phase greater than 0.05g/cm3, and volume fraction of 2%-4%. The machine has the significant advantages of continuous operation, simple operation, easy installation, low operating cost and small occupied area.
