Structures and properties
The Model LW centrifuge is a horizontal spiral discharge device designed for continuous operation and separation of materials. Its principle revolves around the synchronized rotation of the drum and spiral feeder, with a speed difference. Material is directed into the inner cylinder of the feeding spiral via a pipe, accelerated, and then enters the drum. The centrifugal force acts on the material, causing the heavier solid-phase to deposit on the drum wall, forming a residue layer. The spiral feeder continuously pushes the solid-phase residue to the conic end of the drum, where it is dehydrated and discharged during high-speed operation. This compact equipment offers continuous operation, smooth functioning, and high adaptability to a variety of materials, allowing for convenient maintenance and a large handling capacity.
