The working principle of the centrifuge
When the mixed liquid enters the high-speed rotating drum cavity from the feed port, the solids with a larger specific gravity in the mixed liquid will quickly settle to the inner wall of the drum under the action of centrifugal force, and will be discharged from the drum through the solid outlet through the screw pusher; at the same time, the liquid phase with a smaller specific gravity will form an inner liquid ring under the action of centrifugal force and will be discharged from the drum through the liquid overflow port.
The drum and the screw pusher rotate at high speed at the same time. Due to the speed difference between them, the solid matter deposited on the drum wall is continuously pushed to the liquid outlet by the screw pusher for discharge, and the entire separation process is carried out continuously.
