Basic Concept Of Tubular Centrifuge
High-speed tubular centrifuge, also known as tubular separator, is a fine separation equipment suitable for solid-liquid separation or liquid-liquid-solid separation of suspensions with dilute concentrations, fine particles and small density differences. It achieves efficient and rapid separation effects by relying on the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, and is widely used in medicine, food, chemical industry, biotechnology and other fields.
Working Principle
GQ type is mainly used to separate various difficult-to-separate suspensions in industry, and is particularly suitable for separation of solid-liquid phases with dilute concentrations, fine particles, and small specific gravity differences.
GF type is mainly used for separating various difficult-to-separate suspensions in industry, especially for liquid-liquid separation with small specific gravity difference and liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation containing a small amount of impurities.
GQ Working Principle
- The centrifuge rotates at high speed to reach a suitable working speed (the speed can be adjusted through the control panel), and the mixed suspension is continuously fed from the bottom. Under the action of centrifugal force, the suspension is separated into layers;
- The density of the liquid in the suspension is relatively small, and it gradually rises in a spiral from bottom to top, and then is continuously discharged from the clear liquid outlet on the upper part of the rotor;
- The solid phase is relatively heavy and will settle inside the bowl. After the solids are collected, turn off the centrifuge and manually remove the rotor for slag removal;
- After cleaning the slag, the rotor needs to be installed and reset before the next separation process can begin.
GF Working Principle
- The centrifuge rotates at high speed to reach a suitable working speed (the speed can be adjusted through the control panel), and the mixed suspension is continuously fed from the bottom. Under the action of centrifugal force, the suspension is separated into layers;
- The two liquids in the suspension have a density difference and are immiscible. The liquid phase gradually rises from bottom to top in a spiral shape to the upper part of the rotor. The liquid phase with lower density is discharged from the light liquid outlet, and the liquid phase with higher density is discharged from the heavy liquid outlet.
- The solid phase has the highest density and settles inside the drum. After the solids are collected, the centrifuge is turned off and the rotor is manually removed for slag removal.
- After the slag has been cleaned, the rotor needs to be reinstalled and the next step of the separation process can begin.
Suitable For Separation Of Various Materials
GF type is used to separate various emulsions and is suitable for liquid-liquid-solid separation containing a small amount of impurities, such as: separation of various oral liquids, various liquid medicines, plasma biological drugs and extraction of plasma from animal blood; refining of edible oil, tea polyphenols, and soybean concentrated acid lecithin; fuel oil, fuel, oil saponification, various micro-powder materials; purification of SPAN-80 liquid, oil-water separation and sewage treatment, etc.
