Decanter Centrifuge Overview
Decanter Centrifuge, full name horizontal spiral sedimentation centrifuge, is a mechanical device that uses centrifugal force field to separate solids and liquids. It uses the strong centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to separate suspended matter, particulate matter and some colloid substances in wastewater from liquids, thereby purifying water quality and meeting environmental discharge standards or reuse water requirements.
About Centrifuge Components
The decanter centrifuge is mainly composed of a drum, a screw conveyor, a differential, a drive system, a feed and discharge system, and a control system.
The drum and the screw conveyor are the core components, which realize solid-liquid separation through differential rotation; the drive system provides power for the equipment; the feed and discharge system ensures the smooth entry and exit of wastewater and the effective discharge of separated materials; and the control system is responsible for the automatic operation and status monitoring of the equipment.
Decanter Centrifuge Features
- Efficient separation: It can quickly and effectively separate solid particles from liquid in wastewater to improve treatment efficiency.
- High degree of automation: Equipped with advanced control system to realize automatic monitoring, intelligent adjustment and other functions, reducing the difficulty and labor intensity of manual operation.
- Strong adaptability: It can treat wastewater of different concentrations and properties to meet various industrial production and environmental protection treatment needs.
- Stable operation: reasonable structure design, stable operation, low noise and easy maintenance.
- Energy saving and environmental protection: low energy consumption, small footprint, in line with modern environmental protection and energy saving concepts.
Scope Of Application
Horizontal screw centrifuges are widely used in municipal sewage treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, sludge dehydration, oil-water separation, etc. They are particularly suitable for treating wastewater or sludge with high solid content and large particles, such as papermaking wastewater, textile printing and dyeing wastewater, petrochemical wastewater, pharmaceutical wastewater, etc.
Wastewater treated with the decanter can meet discharge standards and can also be recycled, truly solving the problem of wastewater discharge for customers.
