Working Principle
First of all, the working principle of the pusher centrifuge is based on the action of centrifugal force. It is mainly used for solid-liquid separation or removal of suspended solids.
Therefore, When the pusher centrifuge is running, there is a rotor that rotates at high speed. And the chamber is feeding with the sample and liquid mixture on the rotor .
Under the action of centrifugal force, heavy particles or solids will be close to the bowl wall.And the ejector will push these particles towards the discharge port of the bowl through mechanical movement. So it can achieve solid-liquid separation. The light liquid is discharged through the center hole.
Finally,when the centrifugation is finished, the pusher pushes out the solid material to achieve continuous processing of the material.
In a word, the main components of the pusher centrifuge include a feed pipe, a rotating drum, a strainer, a pusher device, etc. The material enters the filter screen in the bowl through the feed pipe, the liquid is discharged through the filter screen. And the solid matter forms the filter cake layer. The pusher pushes the filter cake layer towards the discharge port through reciprocating motion. In order to complete the solid-liquid separation.
