Horizontal Screw Three-Phase Centrifuge, Oil Sludge Centrifuge

The three-phase horizontal screw centrifuge is a commonly used industrial equipment. It separates solid particles and liquid in a mixture based on the principle of centrifugal force to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation.

Basic Introduction Of Centrifuge

As the name implies, the three-phase decanter centrifuge is used to separate three-phase materials. Our three-phase centrifuge can separate solid, liquid and liquid three phases under the action of centrifugal force according to the different densities of the materials.

 

Working Mechanism Of Decanter Centrifuge

 

The three-phase horizontal screw centrifuge is mainly composed of the driving part, the drum and the screw conveyor. It has a compact structure and a small size. When the feed pump in the material to be separated is transported to the centrifuge drum, the high-speed rotating drum generates a strong centrifugal force to settle the solid particles heavier than the liquid phase to the inner wall of the drum. Due to the different speeds of the screw and the drum, there is a relative movement between the two (i.e., the speed difference is adjustable), and the high-density solid (slag) settles to the drum wall. The clear liquid with different densities of the two phases forms concentric cylinders, with the lighter liquid phase in the inner layer and the heavier liquid phase in the outer layer.

The thickness of different liquid rings can be adjusted by the liquid regulating plate (that is, the water content in oil or the oil content in water is adjustable). The slag deposited on the drum wall is conveyed to the conical end of the drum by the screw conveyor and discharged into the solid accumulation box from the discharge port. The water and oil are discharged from their respective outlets. The entire oil, water and slag three-phase separation process is automatic feeding and automatic discharging.

 

 

Application scope of three-phase horizontal screw centrifuge

 

  • Material concentration: The material is required to have good fluidity and not affect the feeding. The weight percentage of the solid phase concentration of the mixed liquid is generally ≤20% (if the fluidity is good, it can be relaxed appropriately).
  • Material temperature: The allowable material temperature of this centrifuge is ≤900C.
  • Separation range:
    A. When the liquid phase viscosity is small and the solid phase particle size is large, the solid-liquid-liquid specific gravity difference is required to be ≥0.05g/cm3 (solid is heavy, liquid is light).
    B. When the liquid phase viscosity is small and the solid-liquid specific gravity difference is large (specific gravity difference ≥1g/cm3), the solid phase particles are required to be ≥0.005mm and the liquid-liquid specific gravity difference is ≥0.05g/cm3.
    C. When the liquid phase viscosity is large or the solid-liquid specific gravity is small and the solid phase particles are very fine, the separation effect will be affected and even unsuitable.
    D. When the solid phase particles are easily damaged, the separation effect will also be affected.
