Working Principle

Due to the different centrifugal forces at different positions inside the drum, the solid phase particles, heavy liquid phase and light liquid phase in the mixed liquid are quickly separated under the action of centrifugal force.

The solid phase particles, due to their highest density, are first deposited on the inner wall of the drum to form a solid phase layer; the heavy liquid phase is located above the solid phase layer to form an intermediate liquid phase layer; and the light liquid phase, due to its lowest density, is thrown to the center area of ​​the drum. Subsequently, through the slow rotation and pushing action of the screw conveyor, the solid phase is continuously discharged to the solid phase outlet, and the heavy liquid phase and the light liquid phase flow out from their respective outlets, thereby achieving a complete separation of the three phases.

Centrifuge Structure

 

The three-phase separation decanter centrifuge is mainly composed of a drum, a screw conveyor, a differential, a drive device, a feeding system, a discharging system and a control system. The drum is the core component of the equipment, and its material and structural design directly affect the separation effect. The screw conveyor is responsible for continuously discharging the solid phase deposited on the inner wall of the drum. The differential controls the dehydration degree and discharge speed of the solid phase by adjusting the speed difference between the drum and the screw conveyor. The drive device provides the power required for the operation of the equipment. The feeding system ensures that the mixed liquid enters the drum evenly. The discharging system is responsible for respectively discharging the three phases after separation. The control system monitors and controls the entire separation process in real time to ensure stable operation of the equipment.
