Working Principle
The tubular centrifuge plays a key role in the food industry with its high speed, high separation factor and continuous operation capability. The equipment is designed for liquid-solid separation process, especially for food liquids with high viscosity, low solid content and fine particles, such as plant extracts, soy sauce, fruit and vegetable juice, yeast liquid, whey, etc. Through strong centrifugal force, it can quickly achieve complete separation of suspended impurities and clarified liquid, ensure product purity and taste, and improve the stability and efficiency of subsequent processes.
Key Benefits
High Purity: Removes 95%+ of water and micro-solids in one go.
Gentle Processing: Preserves heat-sensitive nutrients (compared to thermal methods).
Compact: Suitable for small-scale production (e.g., virgin coconut oil).
Key points for operation of tubular separators
* When the percentage of impurities or solids in the liquid is less than 0.5%, the ideal separation effect will be achieved. If the percentage is higher than 0.5%, the solution should be clarified first.
* High troughs are used for feeding. If the liquid has a large viscosity, it can also be pumped.
* Measure the appropriate material inlet pressure: When the material is fed into the separator through the nozzle, the appropriate inlet.
The pressure depends on the material properties of the nozzle entering the separator to spray the material at least halfway up onto the drum.
Low pressure will cause part of the liquid not to be fed into the drum and slide into the bearing seat at the bottom of the drum to flow out from the overflow port, while high pressure will affect the separation quality and cause machine.
* The inner diameter of the feed pipe should be large enough and can be controlled by a valve, which is convenient for users to adjust
according to the flow rate and output.
* The separator is equipped with nozzles of different diameters to accommodate different separation qualities and outputs. If a smaller
quality is produced, a small nozzle is used, and vice versa.
