Overview Of Working Principle
As an efficient separation equipment, the working principle of tubular centrifuge is based on the action of centrifugal field. The material enters the high-speed rotating drum through the feeding system. Under the strong centrifugal force, the components of different density, particle size or sedimentation coefficient are quickly separated in the drum. The heavy phase (such as solid particles or high-density liquid) is thrown to the inner wall of the drum and moves along the wall to one end of the drum, and finally discharged through the slag discharge port; while the light phase (such as clarified liquid or low-density liquid) forms a central liquid column and flows out from the other end of the drum or the overflow port in the center, thereby achieving continuous and efficient solid-liquid separation or liquid-liquid separation.
