What Is A Tubular Centrifuge?
- Tubular centrifuges are mainly used for continuous separation of liquids or very fine particles in liquids, but are sometimes used as intermittent centrifuges. Generally speaking, tubular centrifuges are used when separation requires a higher centrifugal force.
- Tubular centrifuges are centrifugal devices that can achieve a very high separation factor, and are particularly suitable for the extraction, concentration and clarification of media with small liquid-solid relative gravity difference, fine solid particle size, low solid content and strong corrosiveness.
Working Principle
The separator consists of a machine body, a transmission device, a drum, a liquid collecting tray, a liquid inlet bearing seat, etc. The upper part of the drum is a flexible main shaft, and the lower part is a damping floating bearing. The main shaft is connected to the driven wheel through a buffer coupling seat, and the motor transmits power to the driving wheel through a transmission belt and a tensioning device, so that the drum rotates at high speed around its own axis, forming a strong centrifugal force field. The material is sprayed into the liquid inlet from the bottom liquid inlet. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid flows upward along the inner wall of the drum and is separated into different liquid layers according to different densities.
