Working Principle

The main function of the decanter spiral centrifuge is to separate the solids from the liquid (i.e. two-phase separation), and the suspended solids are subjected to centrifugal force and the opposite buoyancy and flow resistance during the clarification process, and the clarification speed is the result of the combined action of the above forces. The resistance to flow depends on the size and shape of the particles, as well as the viscosity of the liquid. The friction between the liquid and the settled solids, as well as the agitation caused by the swirl of the spiral rotation and the rotation of the bowl, together produce a comprehensive dynamic effect, which has a strong effect on the semi-static sedimentation in the centrifuge.
