Used Decanter Centrifuge Industrial Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Decanter Centrifuge has been widely used in the field of wastewater treatment due to its large processing capacity, good separation effect and strong working capacity.

Centrifuge Overview

Centrifuge is a highly efficient separation device that uses the centrifugal force field to separate suspended matter, particulate matter and some soluble substances in wastewater from the liquid phase to achieve the purpose of purifying water quality. According to different structures and working principles, wastewater treatment centrifuges can be divided into many types, including but not limited to horizontal screw centrifuges, disc centrifuges, tubular centrifuges, etc. Among them, horizontal screw centrifuges have been widely used in the field of wastewater treatment due to their large processing capacity, strong continuity and high degree of automation.

Working Principle

The working principle of the horizontal screw centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. When the wastewater enters the centrifuge, a strong centrifugal force field is generated in the high-speed rotating drum. Under the action of this force field, the suspended solids, particulate matter and other components with a larger specific gravity in the wastewater quickly settle to the inner wall of the drum to form a solid phase layer; while the clean liquid phase, due to its smaller specific gravity, is thrown to the center area of the drum and discharged through a specific path. Some centrifuges are also equipped with a screw conveyor to continuously push out the solid phase deposited on the inner wall of the drum to achieve a thorough separation of the solid and liquid phases.

Main Structure Of Centrifuge

The main structure of the wastewater treatment centrifuge includes a drum, a screw conveyor (for a horizontal screw centrifuge), a drive device, a differential, a feeding system, a discharging system and a control system. The drum is the core component of the equipment, and its material, diameter, length and speed directly affect the separation effect. The screw conveyor is responsible for pushing the solid phase from the inner wall of the drum to the slag outlet. The differential is used to adjust the speed difference between the drum and the screw conveyor to control the dehydration degree and discharge speed of the solid phase. The control system monitors and controls the entire separation process in real time to ensure stable operation of the equipment.
