LW450 horizontal screw centrifuge is a horizontal screw discharge centrifuge, which realizes solid-liquid separation through the action of centrifugal force field. Its drum diameter is 450mm, with high processing capacity and separation efficiency, suitable for processing sludge and other suspensions with low solid content.

 

How It Works

 

The working principle of LW450 horizontal screw centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. When the suspension to be separated enters the inside of the centrifuge drum, under the action of the strong centrifugal field, the solid phase material with a larger specific gravity moves along the drum wall, accumulates in the sediment area of ​​the drum wall, and is transported out of the centrifuge by the screw pusher. The liquid phase material with a smaller specific gravity is squeezed by the heavy phase material on the surface of the sedimentation tank and discharged through the overflow port. There is a certain differential speed between the screw pusher and the drum, so that the solid phase material is fully dehydrated and compressed in the drum.

• Drum: cylindrical and conical structure, diameter 450mm, is the main component of centrifugal separation.
