How It Works

 

The working principle of LW decanter centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. When the mixed material enters the centrifuge through the feeding system, it is distributed into the high-speed rotating drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid particles with higher density are thrown to the inner wall of the drum to form a solid phase layer; while the liquid with lower density forms a liquid phase layer and is discharged through the overflow port. At the same time, the screw conveyor rotates at a speed slightly lower than the drum, pushing the solid phase layer to the slag discharge port for discharge, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.
