How it works

The spindle drives the drum to rotate around its own axis at high speed, forming a strong centrifugal force field in the drum. The material enters the bowl from the bottom feed port, and under the action of centrifugal force, the material is forced to flow upward along the inner wall of the bowl, and two concentric liquid rings are formed along the axial direction according to its density difference. The light liquid is discharged from the light liquid port close to the axis and recovered through the light liquid collection tray, and the heavy liquid is discharged from the heavy liquid port close to the drum wall, and recovered through the heavy liquid collection tray, and the trace solid residue is deposited on the inner wall of the drum and is manually removed after the shutdown. It is used for the separation of emulsions with a small density difference between liquid and liquid phases.
