Basic Overview Of Centrifuge

 

The horizontal screw centrifuge is an efficient, continuously running solid-liquid separation equipment, which is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection and other industries. Its working principle is based on the action of centrifugal force. The high-speed rotating drum generates a strong centrifugal force field to quickly separate the solid particles and liquid in the mixed material.

 

How It Works

 

The working principle of the horizontal screw centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. When the mixed material enters the centrifuge, it is distributed into the high-speed rotating drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid particles with higher density are thrown to the inner wall of the drum to form a solid phase layer, which is pushed to the discharge port by the rotation of the screw conveyor; while the liquid with lower density forms a liquid phase layer and is discharged through the overflow port at the center of the drum. This process realizes the effective separation of solid and liquid.
