Horizontal Centrifuge Overview
(This product is a used device with intact functions)
Three-phase horizontal centrifuges, especially those used for waste oil treatment, use the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to separate solid and liquid components in suspensions. When waste oil enters the centrifuge drum, solid particles with a higher density than the liquid phase quickly settle to the inner wall of the drum under the action of centrifugal force, and are then pushed to the small end of the drum by the internal screw conveyor for further dehydration, and finally discharged through the slag outlet, while the separated clear liquid flows out from the large end of the drum.
Working principle of centrifuge
The working principle of the three-phase horizontal centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. During the high-speed rotation of the equipment, the centrifugal force is used to separate the solid particles, water and other impurities in the waste oil from the pure oil phase. After the waste oil mixture enters the drum, as the drum rotates, the components gradually separate due to different densities. Heavy components such as solid particles and water are deposited on the inner wall of the drum to form a solid phase layer; while the pure oil phase is located in the outer layer to form a liquid phase layer. Subsequently, through the action of the spiral pusher, the solid phase layer is gradually pushed to the slag outlet for discharge, and the liquid phase layer flows out from the other end to achieve solid-liquid separation.
