Technical principle

Disc centrifuge is a high-speed rotating separation equipment, mainly used for the separation of multiphase materials in liquid-solid and liquid-liquid-solid systems. Its core technology is derived from the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. When the mixed liquid enters the high-speed rotating drum, components with different densities are separated in the centrifugal field, thereby achieving efficient separation.

Brief description of the working process:
Material feeding: The mixed liquid is introduced into the center of the drum through the feed pipe.

Centrifugal stratification: The material is accelerated and enters the disc group. Under the rotation of the drum at up to 5000~8000 rpm, the light and heavy phases are separated.

Solid phase deposition: High-density solid particles settle on the surface of the disc and accumulate on the inner wall of the drum.

Liquid phase diversion: The light phase and heavy phase liquid are diverted between the discs and discharged separately through different liquid outlets.

Slag discharge mechanism: The automatic slag discharge structure can be optionally equipped to achieve periodic or continuous slag discharge and improve operating efficiency.

This separation process is completed in a short time without destroying the activity of the material. It is one of the preferred separation methods in high value-added industries such as pharmaceuticals, biology, and dairy products.
