Working principle
The working principle of decanter centrifuge is based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. The mud-water mixture enters the drum through the feed pipe, and the solid phase particles with larger specific gravity are deposited on the inner wall of the drum under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the main engine. The spiral blades that move relative to the drum continuously scrape off the solid phase particles deposited on the inner wall of the drum and push them out of the slag discharge port, and the separated clear liquid flows out of the drum through the weir plate opening. The relative movement between the spiral and the drum is realized by the differential, the housing of the differential is connected to the drum, the output shaft is connected to the spiral, and the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor. While the main motor drives the drum to rotate, it also drives the differential housing to rotate. The auxiliary motor generates braking torque, drives the planetary gear to operate according to the designed transmission relationship, and transmits the torque to the rotation in a certain proportion to achieve continuous separation.
