Drum:

Composition: Usually composed of conical drum, cylindrical drum, large and small end covers, etc.

Material: Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel or titanium alloy.

Function: The drum is the core component of the horizontal screw centrifuge, responsible for generating strong centrifugal force when rotating at high speed, and throwing the solid particles in the county suspension onto the inner wall of the drum to form a solid layer, thereby achieving solid-liquid separation.

Screw conveyor:

Composition: A spiral structure made of steel components, with blades welded to the shaft to form a spiral shape.

Function: The screw conveyor is located inside the drum, coaxial with the drum but with a slightly lower (or slightly higher) speed. It uses the relative motion (speed difference) with the drum to continuously push the solid phase material deposited on the inner wall of the drum to the outlet of the small end of the drum for discharge, thus achieving solid-liquid separation.

 

Differential:

Composition: including motor, reducer, driving shaft and coupling.

Function: The differential is used to adjust the speed difference between the screw conveyor and the drum to ensure the smooth progress of the solid-liquid separation process. Its design and performance directly affect the separation effect and operation stability of the horizontal screw centrifuge.

 

Drive system:

Composition: including electric control cabinet, PLC controller and other components.

Function: Provide power for the drum and screw conveyor to ensure high-speed rotation and stable operation of the equipment.

 

Control system:

Function: Used to control the start and stop, speed adjustment and other parameters of the centrifuge to ensure the automatic operation and safety of the equipment.

 

Safety protection system:

Function: including overload protection, emergency shutdown and other functions, to ensure that the equipment can stop running quickly under abnormal conditions to prevent accidents.

 

Frame:

Function: Used to support the structure of the entire centrifuge to ensure the stability and safety of the equipment.

 

Hood:

Function: Used to protect the internal parts of the centrifuge and the safety of operators, and to avoid splashing of internal materials and overflow of odors.

 

Feng bearing:

Function: Key components that support the rotation of the drum and screw conveyor to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment.

 

Lubrication system:

Function: Since the horizontal screw centrifuge is hydraulically driven and the drum speed is high, a hydraulic station and lubrication system are designed to ensure the lubrication and cooling of the bearings and extend the service life of the equipment.
