What Is The Cause Of High Differential Temperatures?

  • by

The reasons for the high differential temperature of decanter centrifuge may involve many aspects, the following are the specific reasons and corresponding explanations:

1. Operating environment:Centrifuges may produce high temperature and high humidity environment during operation, if long time running in such environment, the differential internal abnormal phenomenon may occur, such as heat and noise increase.

2. Poor sealing:Poor sealing inside the differential may lead to bearing, gears and other parts involved, thus generating heat phenomenon.

3. Increased friction:The contact area between the friction plate and the steel plate inside the differential increases under long time and high load operation, and the friction will increase, resulting in heat generation.

4. Lubrication problems: oil deterioration or loss of lubrication, which may be due to the bearing housing into the foreign matter (such as steam, water, material liquid, etc.), resulting in oil contamination, or the use of the oil itself is of poor quality, can not meet the lubrication needs of the differential.

Differential lack of oil, the lack of necessary lubrication, resulting in increased temperature.

5. Excessive load:If the centrifuge is under high load for a long period of time, the differential may heat up due to excessive pressure.

6. Poor heat dissipation:If there are problems with the differential’s heat dissipation system, such as a faulty heat dissipation fan, blocked heat sinks, etc., this may lead to high temperatures.

For these reasons, the following measures can be taken to reduce the differential temperature:

1. Improve the operating environment:Ensure the centrifuge is operated in a suitable temperature and humidity environment, and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperature and high humidity.

2. Check the sealing performance:Check the sealing performance of the differential and replace or repair the seals if necessary to prevent the internal parts from drafting and heating.

3. Adjust the friction parts:Check and adjust the contact between the friction plate and the steel plate to reduce the contact area and friction so as to reduce the heat generation.

4. Replace or add lubricating oil:Regularly check the condition of the oil if it deteriorates or loses its lubricating effect, it should be replaced in time. At the same time, make sure there is enough lubricant in the differential to meet the lubrication requirements.

5. Adjust the load:Try to avoid long time high load operation, adjust the load of the centrifuge according to the actual need to reduce the pressure of the differential.

6. Check and repair the cooling system: check whether the cooling fan is running normally and whether the heat sink is clean and unblocked. If there is any failure or blockage, it should be repaired or cleaned in time to improve the cooling efficiency.
